Guide to Bidding at the
Silent Auction
·
Write
your name, contact information and bid clearly on the bid sheet. Please
make sure your information is legible.
We know you may have written it twenty times but we still need to be
able to read it.
·
Children
in the bidding room must be accompanied by adults. Unattended
children may be asked to leave the room.
·
Children
may write bids on the sheet as long as a parent/guardian is present at the time. If children are bidding without their present and
approving parent/guardian, the bid will be crossed off the bid sheet by the
monitor.
·
You must
bid in the increments listed on the top of the sheet. Bids
must be made according to the increment
listed on the bid sheet. If the
increment is $10 and the last bid is $30, you must bid at least $40. You may bid higher than $40, but it must be $50,
or $60... NOT $45).
·
Bids not
made in the appropriate increment will be changed to the correct bid. It will
be assumed that you really wanted to make the correct bid and your incorrect
bid will be changed by the monitor to the correct increment, no questions
asked. (Your bid of $35 on a $10 incremented
item will be changed to $40)
·
Please
bid as if you might win all of the items you want. Bid
on as much as you want as many times as you want but remember, you may just end
up taking everything home.
·
No bids
will be allowed once bidding is called to a close.
·
All
winning bids will be determined at the end of the event and you need not be
present to win. We will contact you to
arrange for payment and delivery of your items.
Payment needs to be made within one week or we will offer item to next
highest bidder.
·
All
winning bids may be paid in cash or check, we are unable to accept
credit cards.
HAVE FUN!!!
